Voug Shol, Outreach CoordinatorVoug has a degree in Philosophy from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. A refugee from South Sudan, Voug came to America in 2022 and moved to Sioux Falls in 2023. Growing up as a Refugee has taught Voug a lot of things: one of them is to value and accept our differences. Working with SDVFP is a great opportunity to give back and support our communities. Voug is fluent in Dinka and Arabic, which is a great skill to communicate and connect with different cultures.

Jessica Walton, Community Health WorkerJessica was born and raised in Sacramento, California, and has called Sioux Falls, South Dakota home since 2019. She graduated from Sierra College in 2018 with an associates in Behavioral and Social Sciences. In 2022, she graduated from the University of South Dakota with her bachelor's in General Studies. She is dedicated to making a difference and improving public health through advocacy, education, and providing support to the diverse communities in the Sioux Falls area.
